Full Session vs Mini Session

What's the difference between a full session and a mini session?

When planning a photo session, it can be confusing to know what type of session is best for your family – mini or full. To help make things easier, I wanted to share with you some of the key differences between the two.

Full Sessions

When we have more time together, it means a more relaxed session. Whether you have rambunctious or shy kids who need time to warm up to new people and places, the longer session format will help them feel more comfortable. You'll be able to take as many breaks as needed, and everyone can enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

I believe that the best photos come from locations that have meaning and significance to you, which is why with my full session, you get to choose the location and time that works best for your family. Whether it's a spot with special family memories, your home, or a unique and beautiful place of your choice - I'd love to hear all about it.

With a full session, you’ll get the standard “look-here-and-smile” shots that everyone loves for their holiday cards, as well as all those in-between moments that make your photos unique and personal. We also have the time to be creative and take shots you wouldn't normally get with a mini-session.

A full gallery from me is never less than 40 images and often quite a bit more. You can be sure that you'll get every good image I took on the day. You'll have so many options to choose from.

Mini Session

I understand that a full photo session can be a big investment for many families, so I wanted to offer something at a lower price point. My mini-sessions are perfect for those who love to get updated images every year but don’t necessarily need all the bells and whistles of a full session.

Mini Sessions are short and sweet. As a parent, you know how quickly your little ones (and teenagers) can hit their limit when it comes to photo sessions. Mini sessions are a great way to make sure your family has the best experience without being overwhelmed.

Sometimes you just need a few photos. Mini sessions are designed to give you 15 beautiful images that capture exactly what you’re looking for. With mini-sessions, you don't have to sift through a full gallery of photos. Instead, you get a collection of carefully chosen shots that tell your story and bring out the best of each moment!
